History
In 1998 WTM launches a business travelling department to assist a high demand of top entrepreneurs from the USA willing to do business in Brazil.
In 2000 the group starts working in the area of show business, promoting events for well know Brazilian artists such as: Jô Soares, Vanessa Camargo, Roupa Nova, Jorge Benjor, as well as organizing the Chivas Jazz Festival and producing a musical about Brazil, with more than 1000 costumes and 120 actors on stage. The musical was seen by an approximately 100 thousand people.
In 2003, WTM creates a new department with focus on the co-operative market: FENACOOP – The National Fair for the co-operative sector. In 2006, FENACOOP becomes ICAExpo – The International Co-operative Exhibition, the first global fair for the co-operative movement. ICAExpo 2008 takes place in Lisbon, Portugal and is ICA – the International Co-operative Alliance - official exhibition. ICA unites, represents and serves co-operatives from 87 countries with more than 800 million individuals worldwide.
